If you watch TV, you often see white-collar criminals depicted as evil masterminds. In fact, nothing could be further from the truth! Most of these guys are real morons! Here are some amazing, true-life stories of idiotic white-collar lawbreakers who thought they could "beat the system." Instead they ended up in the same place as anybody else who breaks the law... minimum-security jail!

Stockholm: A junior partner at a law firm had the inside scoop on an upcoming merger. Seems our feather-brained legal eagle thought he'd take the opportunity to cash in on this inside information by picking up some cheap stocks under his wife's name. He bought so many, in fact, that the authorities became suspicious.

When investigators showed up at his office our luckless lawyer coolly denied any knowledge of the stock purchase... until the investigators pointed out that the stock certificates were right there on his desk in front of him! Seems our silly solicitor forgot to even put them in a drawer!
